Update

Screaming lady at the consulate rang me back yesterday using quite an apologetic tone (though the type of person she is would never apologise!!). She actually tried to find a solution to our problems and has so far made a great effort (for being the person she is - a bitter witch). Her way of saying sorry went like this : you two should not have to worry about these things now so please relax this weekend because I'll find a way to fix it all. My first thought was : Wow so there is a soft spot buried somewhere deep deep inside that bitter bitchy appearance yours!!

On Monday we'll know if we can get married the way we first planned it.

Expecting the Unexpected

What a mess, nothing is going smoothly! It's a long story but I'll try to make it short and comprehensible. Our documents allowing us to get married in the church with the civil part included is in danger because of errors nobody informed us about months ago when we first asked if everything was OK with what we'd gathered. One week before - like yesterday, I got a phonecall from the priest saying nothing was in order. I call a very unpleasant Lady at the Italian Consulate in Marseille and she actually screams at me for asking her to correct her mistakes and send a new fax to the local government in Italy. It would have taken her 10 minutes!! But she screams at me asking why on earth I would call only a week before my wedding when she had given us this vital paper months ago. A little bit in vain I screamed back that it was hardly my choice.

Puuuuh... story goes on. At worst we will have to get married in at the registry office before saturday and then do the religous part as planned. But all this causes stress that I could have easily been without at the moment.

I just feel tired of having to trust incapable people to do their job properly.

Feng Shui Bed Placement

Houston we have a problem!!

So discussing how to decorate our bedroom L and I thought we'd have a look on the web about Feng Shui bed placement and I found out that our bedroom can't be our bedroom unless I want a back stabbing, jealous boyfriend. Or being attacked by huge amounts of harmful shar chi. Or, god forbid I place the bed on the wall of the bathroom because then I'll be ill and loose opportunities for success. If I dare to change bedroom I will have to add that I'll be dreadfully affected by the bad luck of emptiness and lack of substance (placed above a garage). Success will be elusive and things will not go according to plan. Putting up shelves is not a good idea either because shelves constitute poison arrows, which send out a lot of shar chi, thus causing misfortune, ill health, quarrels, loss of money and opportunities.

At least they didn't mention anything about bad sex because then we would need to buy another house!
