A long day that ended up on the beach. There were beautiful colours tonight and I grabbed my camera trying to catch the mood. I arrived at Brutal Beach after the sun had already set so I didn't have minutes to waste. The image might look peaceful but the wind almost knocked me over and the waves constantly meanaced my lightly dressed feet. I wish I had a few neutral density filters as it would have made the sky look better. Maybe Santa will bring me one or two?

I love the sea in autumn and winter - I'm glad I found your blog, as I've always longed to live near the ocean but have so far only achieved it briefly (lived in San Pedro, California for 18 months).
